Tentative Day-wise Plan
Day 1: Arrival at Zurich
When you get to Zurich, get in the car there to go to the hotel. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and spend the remainder of the day as you please. Hotel overnight stay.
Day 2: Rhine Falls & Zurich City tour
Prepare for a tour of Zurich's lovely city after breakfast and prepare to fall in love with the Rhine Falls scenery.
Highlights: Visit Europe's largest waterfall and hear the thunder of nature: Niagara Falls
Explore Zurich's mediaeval Old Town and ride a cog-wheel railway uphill to the Zurichberg neighbourhood.
Explore the stunning scenery of northern Switzerland, a true heaven on earth. This region, which is close to the German border, is well known for its extensive vineyards.
Cross the sleepy farming community of Marthalen to see the characteristic frame homes in the region. See the legendary Munot Fortress from the 16th century later at Scaffhausen. Arrive at the breathtaking Rhine Falls, which are Europe's greatest waterfall, to complete the excursion. You'll be thrilled by this magnificent natural occurrence.
Continue on your journey to Zurich, a great city. Admire the National Museum's castle-like architecture, the Bahnhofstrasse's renowned shopping and commercial district, the Limmatquai's mediaeval Old Town with its breathtaking Lindenhof perspective, St. Peter's Cathedral's enormous clock face, and much more. It is not surprising that Zurich is one of the most alluring cities in Europe and has won the title of "City of Best Quality of Life" on numerous occasions.
Enjoy the exhilarating ride upwards on the cog-wheel railway that leads you to the magnificent Zurichberg neighbourhood. The majestic mansions that are reminiscent of bygone eras can be found here. The University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, where Albert Einstein studied and lectured, are two further attractions.

Day 3: Zurich to Munich (Approx 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, depart the hotel and head to the train station to catch the train to Munich. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, then enjoy a free evening.
Day 4: Munich Guided City tour and visit to BMW Museum – Private Tour
After breakfast, take a personalised city tour that is educational, leisurely, and fun to see everything you need to see in Munich. You will learn all there is to know about Munich and Bavaria during the tour. You'll learn why Munich is referred to as the "Capital of Beer," why the Nazis referred to it as the "Capital of the Movement," as well as the elements that contribute to its current prosperity and livability.

Day 5: Munich to Salzburg (Approx 1 Hrs 30 Mins) & Guided Walking tour
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and head to the train station to catch a train to Salzburg. check-in at hotel upon arrival.
Proceed on a guided walking tour of Salzburg after refreshments.
A Unesco World Heritage Site, the Mirabell Palace and its exquisitely planted grounds are a sight to behold. Pass the prestigious Mozarteum Music University and the spectacular Marionette Theatre, which has been staging marionette productions of Mozart's operas for a century.
Visit the Regional Theatre, the stunning baroque Trinity Church, and Mozart's Wohnhaus, where Wolfgang Amadeus lived for a while, as you make your way to Markart Square. Take in the beautiful views of the city as you cross the Salzach River. Visit the appropriately lovely home that served as Mozart's birthplace, the charming Getreidegasse shopping district, the well-known Horse Pond from the Sound of Music, and the historic St. Blasius Church.
Explore the upscale Riedenburg neighbourhood after passing through the Sigmund Gate. Continue on to the Nonntal neighbourhood and the imposing Nonnberg Abbey, which has stood on the same spot for 1,300 years and still retains many of its original Romanesque features. The tour ends at Mozart Square, which is next to the Cathedral and the former archbishops' palace and has a statue in his memory. The best tour for quickly learning about the city is this one.

Day 6: Salzburg to Vienna (Approx 2 Hrs 50 Mins)
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and head to the train station to catch the train to Vienna. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, then enjoy a free evening.

Explore the majestic Ringstrasse's finest sites and attractions.
Take a panoramic bus tour along the illustrious Ringstrasse to see the jaw-dropping collection of palaces, ministries, cathedrals and opera theatres that line either side of the grand street. Admire the magnificent Vienna State Opera, the site of the renowned Opera Ball, then continue the trip to be in awe of the imperial winter house, Hofburg Palace. See structures like the Museum of Art History, the magnificent City Hall in the Gothic revival style, the Neo-Classical Austrian Parliament, the dazzling Burgtheater, and many other exceptional architectural wonders.
The Ringstrasse is one of the few streets in the world that can compete with it, and Vienna is even commemorating the 150th birthday of the world's most picturesque boulevard in 2015.
The visit to the Schoenbrunn Palace, a 1,441 room Baroque palace outside of the old town, is the highlight of the tour. The emperors would pass their summers here hunting, fishing, and having fun. Beat the lines and enter right away to marvel at the luxurious state rooms and learn about the sumptuous imperial lifestyle. Spend some time strolling through the equally stunning gardens, and then relax with a Viennese coffee.
Day 8: Departure from Vienna
After breakfast, depart from the hotel and be taken to the airport to catch your journey home.
