Amazing Ladakh – 5N/6D

Itinerary

Day 01: On arrival LehArrival at Hanoi

Enjoy the trip into Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Upon arrival at the Kushok Bakula Rimpochhe Airport, Leh (11562 ft) - the land of courageous hearts - a representative from our company will welcome you and direct you to the transfer to your hotel so you can check in. You are suggested to take some time off because of your sudden arrival in Leh's high altitude in order to acclimatise. The hotel will provide dinner.

Day 02 :Sham Valley Excursion-Leh (90 Kms round trip)

After breakfast, you travel the Leh-Kargil Highway downstream alongside the Indus River. Enjoy the nearby Hall of Fame (Indian Army-built museum), which is a must-see for all Indians, before continuing to Gurdwara Patthar Sahib.A 4 kilometre trip later, we arrived at Magnetic Hill, which defies gravity, nestled deep in the Himalayas. We arrived to the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers after driving through a gorgeous terrain. After touring the aforementioned locations, we return to Leh while stopping at the Spituk Monastery. These new Gelug-pa monasteries were constructed in the 15th century, during the rule of Grags 'bum-lde, and were constructed atop crags like fortresses. A leisurely evening is followed by a hotel stay in Leh.

Day 03: Leh -Nubra Valley (120 kms / 5 hrs)

After an early breakfast, we go to Nubra Valley through Khardung-la Pass, which at 18,380 feet is the highest motorable road in the world. The Nubra Valley is located between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas, to the north of Ladakh.Visit Diskit Monastery en route. Check in at the camp and then go to the Sand Dunes in the evening. Here, you can take a camel ride on a Bactrian camel noted for its double hump (at your own expense). If you'd want, you can pay your own money to see a cultural performance where the locals perform their traditional dance. For dinner, go return to the camp.

Day 04 : Nubra Valley-Pangong Lake( 115 km / 5-6 hrs )

Leave early in the morning and go through Shyok to Pangong Lake by the route followed to Nubra Valley, Agham, Shyok Village, Durbuk, Tangste, and Lukung. This route is a little difficult and highly reliant on the weather on a certain day. In the unlikely event that it is not operational on the day you are intended to take this journey, we would choose the alternative route through Leh city, which is longer but safer. At 14,000 feet (4,267 m), Pangong Lake is a long, narrow inland drainage basin that is barely 6 to 7 kilometres broad and more than 130 kilometres long. The international boundary between China and India cuts it in half. Enjoy the view with the lake as a backdrop; it's unusual to feel so close to nature and the environment, and the day excursion is unforgettable. Enjoy your meal and the rest of your stay.

Day 05 : Pangong Lake -Leh (145 kms / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, get up to a lovely morning by the lake and explore its splendour. The remainder of the day is free for leisure pursuits. Take a stroll through the Leh Market in the evening. Have fun eating dinner at the hotel.
