Exotic Kerala – 3N/4D

Itinerary

Day 1 – Cochin – Munnar

Reaching Cochin. After that, Munnar. The British government in India previously used this lovely hill town as its summer capital. It is a small refuge for tourists because of the never-ending, wide expanse of tea plantations and the year-round temperate environment. Visit Rajamala in the afternoon to see the Nilgiri Thars, a species of mountain goat that is extremely endangered. The evening is free. Stay the night in Munnar.

Day 2 – Munnar

After breakfast, go to Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point. Here, there are facilities for speed boats. On one side, the dam is surrounded by trees and a sizable swath of grassland, and on the other, the Kundala tea plantation. The afternoon is free. Stay the night in Munnar.

Day 3 – Munnar – Thekkady

(Spice plantation & Wildlife Sanctuary) travel to Thekkady in the morning. At Thekkady by midday. Proceed to the Periyar lake, which is where the sanctuary is built, to go boating (additional charge). The only sanctuary in India where you may have the rare opportunity to see wildlife up close and personal from the safety of a boat is this one. Keep to Thekkady

Day 4 – Thekkady – Cochin

After breakfast, travel to Cochin to do some shopping before your return trip.
