Itinerary

Day 1 – Cochin – Munnar

Arrival at the train or airport in Cochin. After that, Munnar. The British government in India previously used this lovely hill town as its summer capital. It is a small refuge for tourists because of the never-ending, enormous expanse of tea plantations and the mild climate all year long. The day is free. Spend the night in Munnar.

Day 2 – Munnar

Visit Rajamala, the home of the critically endangered Nilgiri Thar mountain goats. then to Lakkam water falls, which can be reached after a brief woodland walk. Visit Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point in the afternoon. Here, there are facilities for speed boats. On one side, the dam is surrounded by trees and a sizable swath of grassland, and on the other, the Kundala tea plantation. Spend the night in Munnar.

Day 3 – Munnar – Periyar

(Spice plantation and a wildlife refuge). travel to Thekkady in the morning. At Thekkady by midday. For boating in the afternoon, head to Periyar Lake, which is surrounded by the sanctuary. The only sanctuary in India where you may have the rare opportunity to see wildlife up close and personal from the safety of a boat is this one. Hold on to Thekkady.

Day 4 – Periyar – Kumarakam

(Backwaters). Go to Kumarakam by car. Check in at the Kumarakam backwater resort by midday. The afternoon is free. Stay the night in Kumarakam.

Day 5 – Kumarakam- Alleppey

Leaving for Alleppey after breakfast. Check in at the houseboat in Alleppey around noon for a 20-hour houseboat tour across Kerala's fabled backwaters. You will pass by a wide variety of people, activities, and mind-boggling scenery along the journey. Spend the night on a houseboat. A private boat called a "house boat" has completely equipped, roomy bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, a clean kitchen, dining space, and a front deck where guests may enjoy the beauty of the back seas.

Day 6 – Alleppey- Cochin

Get off the houseboat and head to Cochin for a little retail therapy. To the Cochin airport or train station in the afternoon for a later flight.
