Tentative Day-wise Plan
Day 01: Bagdogra – Gangtok (Approx 125 Kms / 04 Hrs)
When you arrive at NJP Station or IXB Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Gangtok, "The Capital City of Sikkim." Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the remainder of the day as you please. Hotel for the night in Gangtok.
Day 02: Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake)
Start your day journey to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), which is 34 kilometres from Gangtok's city centre and Baba Mandir, after breakfast. The people hold Tsomgo Lake in high regard since it totally freezes over in the winter. Hotel for the night in Gangtok.
Day 03: Gangtok Sightseeing
Start your half-day city tour of Gangtok after breakfast, taking in the Rumtek Monastery, the Botanical Garden, the Do-Dul Chorten, the Institute of Tibetology, the Flower Show, and the local cottage industry. Free time this evening for personal pursuits and shopping. Stopover the night in Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok – Lachen (Abount 125 Kms / 06 Hrs)
Drive for around 6 hours to Lachen (height 8800 feet) after breakfast. Visit Naga Water Falls, Seven Sisters Water Falls, and Singhik View Point en way. Arrive in Lachen by night. Lachen overnight stopover.
Day 05: Lachen – Gurudongmar Excursion – Lachung
After breakfast, go through Thangu and Chopta Valley to Gurudongmar Lake (17800 feet). After lunch, return to the hotel and then travel to Lachung. Stay the night in a hotel in Lachung.
Day 06: Lachung – Yumthang Excursion (24 Km. & 11,800 Ft.)
Drive to Yumthang Valley in the early morning. Yumthang is the winter home of the Yetis and the summer grazing field for yaks. Visit a hot spring on the way home; they are thought to have therapeutic qualities. Lunch at the resort thereafter. (APPROXIMATELY 125KMS/6 HRS) LACHUNG - GANGTOK
After lunch, head for Gangtok while en way and take in the stunning Bheema & Twin Falls' beautification. When you arrive, check into your hotel. Hotel for the night in Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok – Bagdogra Drop (Approx 125 Kms. / 04 Hrs)
In order to continue your adventure with sweet memories, check out of the hotel in time to catch your flight or train.
