Itinerary

DAY 01: Arrival At Guawahati – Shiilong (130 Kms / 3 ½ Hrs Drive)

When you arrive in Guwahati, you will be greeted and driven to Shillong. Visit Umium Lake en way. Enter the hotel. Shillong overnight

DAY 02: Shillong – Cherrapunje – Shillong (60 KMs / 2 Hrs-One Way)

Cherrapunjee expedition after breakfast. Return to Shillong later. Visit local markets in the evening. Shillong, spend the night.

DAY 03: Shillong – Bhalukpong (350 Kms / 7 ½ Hrs)

Transfer to Bhalukpong for the night after breakfast.

DAY 04: Bhalukpong – Dirang (185 Kms / 6 ½ Hrs)

Take a drive to Dirang after breakfast. Visit the Tippi Orchid Centre en route. Enter the hotel. The evening is free. Spend the night in Dirang.

DAY 05: Dirang – Tawang (155 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Drive to Tawang in the morning. See the Jaswant Garh War Memorial and the Sella Pass, which is 14000 feet high and covered in snow. Legend has it that during the 1962 conflict, Jaswant of the 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles—a recipient of the posthumous Mahavir Chakra Award—fought a lone battle against the Chinese invaders. It is still thought that his spirit guards the location. Tawang overnight

DAY 06: Tawang

The stunning Monpa homeland of Tawang is home to one of Asia's largest Mahayana Lamaseries, the "GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE" Monestary. The 400-year-old monastery that houses the 18-foot-tall statue of Lord Buddha is the birthplace of the sixth Dalai Lama. At 3500 metres, "The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains" offers you unparalleled natural purity. Visit the War Memorial and the monastery. A free evening for shopping. Tawang, spend the night.

DAY 07: Tawang – Bomdila (180 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Drive back to Bomdila in the morning. a free evening for leisure. Sleep in Bomdila.

DAY 08: Bomdila – Kaziranga (270 Kms / 7 ½ Hrs)

Take a drive to Kaziranga after breakfast. Enter the hotel. Sleep in Kaziranga

DAY 09: Kaziranga

Go on an elephant ride in the morning around 5AM.Return for a Jeep safari in the Central Range for breakfast. Stay the night at Kaziranga

DAY 10: Guawahati Departure (250 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Transfer to the airport in Guwahati for your next flight after breakfast. FINISH OF TOUR
