Day 4: Koh Samui to Koh Phangan & Full Moon Party
Check out of the hotel after breakfast, then go to the dock to catch the ferry to Koh Phangan. Transfer to hotel and check-in upon arrival.
Prepare yourself for the Rocking Full Moon Party later that night.
The crescent-shaped cove of Haad Rin Beach, which is located on the southernmost point of Phangan Island in Thailand, is the birthplace of the legendary Koh Phangan Full Moon Party. Every month, more than 12 powerful sound systems transform the 800-meter beach into a vibrant outdoor nightclub with festival-like ambiance, fantastic music, and copious amounts of alcohol.
The several bars and stages that have been put up along the shoreline are manned by local and international DJs who spin everything from dubstep to drum and bass, house to hip-hop, techno to trance, reggae to rock and pop standards. As you walk down the beach, the music gets heavier with more underground dance tracks and heavier bass. Generally, the beach bars on the side of the beach closest to Haad Rin Town play party pop (this is also where you'll find the enormous flaming swing that anyone is welcome to try).
Body painting with neon paint is now customary, and UV strip lights are everywhere, making people's bodies shine and glow all night long.
The 'bucket' is the preferred beverage, of course. A bottle of hard liquor (often whisky, vodka or a native sugarcane rum like Sangsom or Hong Thong), a bottle of Red Bull, some ice and occasionally mixers to water it down are included make up this drink. The vibrant plastic buckets are designed to be shared, and they typically have six straws hanging out of them so you and your pals may enjoy them together. They are practically everywhere.
You can purchase meals, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages separately at your own expense.
Day 5: Day at Leisure
After breakfast, you have the rest of the day to spend at your leisure.
Day 6: Departure from Koh Phangan
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to the airport to catch a flight to your next location.
This will cap off an unforgettable trip.
