Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Chiang Mai

Arrive at the Airport and meet our guide at Chiang Mai airport and proceed to the hotel. After check-in, take some rest in the hotel. Spend your evening at leisure.

Day 2: Half Day Chiang Mai Temples Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast for a half-day temple tour.

Chiang Mai is a charming city with atmospheric temples and sleepy streets. There's nowhere else like it, which is why we'll take you on a guided tour of the city's best temples.

Wat Suan Dok is home to several gleaming white chedi, or Buddhist mausoleums. The white spires contrast dramatically with the mountains in the background, making this a popular photo location. Chiang Mai's royal family's ashes are buried here.

Admire the 14th-century Wat Phra Singh, a stunning example of Lanna architecture with high-pitch, three-tier roofs and intricately carved wood gables. The Buddha statue in this temple is highly regarded. The temple's name comes from the Phra Singh, a lion Buddha with many human characteristics.

Visit Wat Chedi Luang, a large Buddhist temple in the heart of Chiang Mai and one of the city's most well-known landmarks. The massive crumbling chedi, which was built in 1441, is surrounded by eye-catching elephant and serpent statues. These snake-like creatures are known as Nagas: mythical creatures who guard valuable temples!

The oldest temple in Chiang Mai is also must-see. Wat Chiang Man was built in 1297 and houses two sacred and ancient Buddha statues. The Chang Lom chedi, also known as the elephant chedi, will leave you speechless. This mausoleum is surrounded by brick-and-stucco elephants who appear to be supporting the structure's upper floors on their backs.

Day 3: Day Tour Of Chiang Rai And Golden Triangle

You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast for a day tour.

There is so much to see and do in Thailand, and on this exciting tour, you will learn about the country's incredible culture while taking in the vibrant scenery.

The magnificent Mae Kajan Hot Springs will be the first stop, with naturally steaming water hot enough to boil eggs! Then, go to the Golden Triangle to see three countries at once. Thailand, Burma, and Laos come together amid rolling hills. Their boundaries are defined by the confluence of the Mekong and Ruak rivers. Why not take an optional boat ride down the Mekong River and take in the scenery?

You'll also have the opportunity to learn more about the "golden" or opium that inspired the region's name. The opium plant, which is the source of many narcotics, was once widely grown here at the opium museum, which examines its history, cultivation, and harmful effects.

Continue on to the Thai border town of Mae Sai before crossing into Burma to visit Tachilek and its bustling markets. We'll pause for a delicious lunch. We'll hit the markets for souvenirs after we've rested and refueled. Burmese handicrafts, such as sarongs, puppets, and cheroots, can be purchased. On our way back to Chiang Mai, we'll visit hill tribe villages and meet Akha tribal members, who are known for their wonderful sense of humor, and Yao tribal members, who create exquisite, embroidered costumes.

Day 4: Day At Leisure

With high ceilings, the offshoot parts can become narrow and have low overhangs. Climb, squeeze, and duck your way through the passageways and rock formations, possibly with a bat or two flying above you. Sounds fun right?

After our cave adventures, we'll visit the Chiang Dao market and feast on delicious local cuisine before heading to the Buatong Sticky Waterfall. While waterfalls are notorious for being dangerously slippery, one impressive feature of this natural wonder is the sticky mineral deposits that allow visitors to climb up the waterfall without falling off. Feel free to take in the beautiful scenery while you're at it. Spend the night in a hotel.

Day 5: Departure From Chiang Mai

After breakfast, check out from the hotel, and Proceed to the airport to take a flight for your next destination after a memorable tour.
