Day 2: Half Day City Tour Of Reykjavik

Following breakfast, you will visit Höfi House, the location of the pivotal 1986 summit between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev between the USSR and the USA. We will then proceed to the Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre, which is situated near the historic city harbor and was honored with the European Union for Contemporary Architecture's 2013 Mies van der Rohe Award.

We will drive from Harpa, stopping at the City Hall and making a quick detour to the Parliament building. This will provide you with a great chance to capture a picture of the building and Austurvöllur Park in front of it.

We're going to the largest and one of the tallest churches in Iceland, Hallgrmskirkja Church. We can observe everything at The Perlan Glass Dome with its 360° viewing platform before heading to Bessastair, the official residence of the President of Iceland.

You will then have a relaxing evening and stay the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Evening Tour Of Northern Lights

You get the first part of the day to yourself after breakfast. It's dark and time for the Northern Light Tours.

We search far from the brightness of city lights for the elusive Aurora Borealis, also referred to as the Northern Lights. Together, we will search for these magnificent auroras. On a clear night, we might be lucky enough to see the lights dance over the sky in incredible patterns, colors, shapes, and sizes.

As we stare in a hypnotic haze, let the lights, if we're lucky, take your breath away. The amazing spectacle taking place in front of you should inspire you. Please cross your fingers and give it a go, as this is all dependent on favorable weather and timing.

The Northern Lights are only visible on a clear night and are visible from late August to April. So, if the evening sky is extremely cloudy or the weather is unfavorable, we have the right to cancel this tour. Every day, a decision is made about whether the trip will go ahead by no later than 5 p.m. To find out whether we will be running the tour, please get in touch with the front desk of your hotel or the local provider. All hotels in Reykjavik have been notified of our choice via email.

Before starting our excursion, we always check the weather forecast for the southwest region of Iceland. To increase our chances of viewing the Northern Lights, we map out each path according to our past experiences.

Since seeing the Northern Lights is a natural event, please be advised that sightings cannot be guaranteed. If you don't see the northern lights during your tour, you can reschedule it for another night without having to pay anything extra.

Finally, you can relax with an overnight stay at a hotel.
