Itinerary

DAY 01: Guawahati Airport – Shillong (130 KMS / 3 ½ Hrs Drive)

At the Guwahati airport, you will be welcomed and sent to Shillong. Visit Umium Lake en way. Enter the hotel. Shillong overnight

DAY 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong (60 KMs / 2 Hrs-One Way)

Cherrapunjee expedition after breakfast. Return to Shillong later. Visit local markets in the evening. Shillong, spend the night.

DAY 03: Shillong Local Sightseeing

Shillong local sightseeing throughout the entire day. Stay the night in Shillong.
The "Gleneagle of the East," Shillong, is situated in the middle of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. The stunning city has wonderful tourism attractions. Short garden walks and boating are popular activities at the city's Ward's Lake. The Botanical Garden has a wide variety of native and foreign plants, as well as a unique collection of orchids. A Japanese-style landscaped park decorated with stunning flowers and streaches of roses is called Lady Hydari Park. A mini zoo next to the park houses 140 reptiles, 73 bird species, and 73 mammals.
An 18-hole golf course that is one of the biggest in Asia is situated in a valley that is rushing with dense pine and rhododendron trees. Enjoy the beautiful arena for the evening! The State Museum showcases the way of life and cultural heritage of Meghalayans. Shillong and its surrounds are peppered with magnificent waterfalls that burst through the surrounding silence as they tumble down deep valleys, creating hazy sparks. Elephant Falls is a mountain stream that bursts through two separate falls that are situated in nooks of fern-covered boulders.

DAY 04: Shillong – Guawahati Departure

Transfer to the airport after breakfast in Guawahati. Tour comes to a conclusion with fond memories.
