Itinerary
Day 01: Bagdogra – Gangtok (Approx 125 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Upon arrival at NJP Station or IXB Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will take you to your reserved accommodation in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. You can freshen up and get some rest at your hotel. The rest of the day will be spent at your leisure. You can stroll around in the nearby places and soak up the beauty of the mesmerizing location. After having a fun day, return to your accommodation for a good night’s sleep.
Day 02: Gangtok (Trip To Tsomgo Lake)
Your day will begin with a journey to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), which is 34 kilometers from Gangtok's city center and Baba Mandir. The people hold Tsomgo Lake in high regard since it totally freezes over in the winter.
You will be brought back to your accommodation after a full day of excursion.
Day 03: Gangtok Sightseeing
Today you will be taken on a half-day city tour of Gangtok after breakfast. You will visit Rumtek Monastery, the Botanical Garden, the Do-Dul Chorten, the Institute of Tibetology, the Flower Show, and the local cottage industry. The evening will be dedicated to your leisure. You can carry on your personal pursuits and shopping.
After spending a quality day, return to your hotel for a sound sleep.
Day 04: Gangtok – Lachen (Abount 125 Kms / 06 Hrs)
After having a lovely breakfast, set your journey towards Lachen. It is situated at a height of 8800 feet. It is a 6-hour drive from your accommodation. On the route, you will visit Naga Waterfalls, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, and Singhik Viewpoint. You will reach Lachen by the evening. You will be taken to your accommodation where you will spend the night.
Day 05: Lachen – Gurudongmar Excursion – Lachung
After having a lavish breakfast, get ready to embrace the beauty of Thangu and Chopta valley. You will also visit the Gurudongmar Lake which is situated at a height of 17800 feet. You will have your lunch here and return to the hotel. After a while you will start your journey to Lachung. You will be escorted to your hotel in Lachung where you will stay for the night.
Day 06: Lachung – Yumthang Excursion (24 Km. & 11,800 Ft.)
Your exploration towards Yumthang Valley will start early in the morning. Yumthang is the winter home of the Yetis and the summer grazing field for yaks. On your way home, visit the hot springs that are said to have therapeutic qualities. After that you will have your lunch at a resort. From there you will set your journey towards Gangtok. On your way towards Gangtok, you can make a stop at the stunning Bheema and twin Falls. When you arrive in Gangtok, check in at your hotel and get some rest for the night. This will be your last night in Gangtok so make sure you have made enough memories.
Day 07: Gangtok – Bagdogra Drop (Approx 125 Kms. / 04 Hrs)
After you wake up, have a healthy breakfast and check out of the hotel. The driver will take you to the airport or railway station as per your choice. We are sure that you will take back multiple memories of this mesmerizing location with you.
